This seminar summarizes wine sensory impacts of Grapevine Red Blotch Virus in Pinot noir vineyards that were found positive for Grapevine Red Blotch Virus. Sensory studies were conducted Winter 2020 and 2021 with wine consumer panels to determine impacts on color, aroma, and mouthfeel of wines produced. The presentation is given by Samuel Hoffman, a graduate research assistant and MS candidate in the labs of Dr. James Osborne (Extension Enologist) and Dr. Elizabeth Tomasino (Wine Sensory) at Oregon State University.
