The son of Annie Mims, Willie Mims was interviewed in 1994 by members of the Black History Club at Jefferson Middle School for the "Matriarchs of the Eugene Black Community Interviewing Project." The interview is a component of the Oregon Black Pioneers Oral History Collection (OH 042), which is housed in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center, Oregon State University Libraries.
