Narrated by Capt. Fred Anderson, this film documents a fishing trip taken by the F/V Betty A and its crew. Operating out of Coos Bay, Oregon, the boat was 73-feet long and capable of holding 160,000 pounds of fish. In "Oregon Trawler," Anderson details the boat's specifications as well as the processes that the crew would follow in trawling for fish. The film shows a 3,000 pound catch being brought on board and sorted.
