Reyna Lopez was born in California but grew up
and graduated high school in Salem, Oregon. She then graduated from Willamette
University with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology. Lopez worked for
CAUSA as the Civic Engagement Director and led the Yes on 88 campaign, founded
the New American Voter’s Project, and helped win tuition equity for the Dreamer
population in Oregon. They have also been the Outreach Director at Our Oregon
and the Organizing Director at Family Forward Oregon. At the time of the
interview Lopez was the Executive Director of Pineros y Campesinos Unidos
Noroeste (PCUN).
