On Friday, October 18, authors of The Rural Voter: The Politics of Place and the Disuniting of America, Nicholas Jacobs and Daniel Shea visited Oregon State University to give a lecture on their research as the inaugural lecture for the Democracy in Action: A Lecture Series on American Pluralism. The lecture was followed by a moderated conversation with Associate Professor and Knudson Endowed Chair in Family Policy David Rothwell and Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer Scott Vignos.
