The Beavers finished the year with an overall record of 17-17 (4-14 in conference), including two wins at the National Invitational Volleyball Championships. During the year, senior Shelly Smith became OSU's career leader in kills, while fellow senior Tanya Lifa set the school record for blocks. Miya Malauulu was also named to the conference's all freshman team.
