1920s-era motion picture footage circulated by the Oregon State Agricultural College Extension Service.
The film depicts Maynard Coe, county agent, visiting school children to get a Baby Beef Club started, which gets
the children involved with helping their parents on the farms. They have to raise and care for the
calf by themselves. The film shows how the William Wollan family comes together by the son
raising and selling, for profit, his beef.
