Metzin Aketzali Rodríguez Cardoso was a Senior at Oregon State University at the time of the interview. Rodríguez was elected as Vice President of the
Associated Students of Oregon State University (ASOSU) for the year
2020-2021. With president Isabel Nuñez Pérez, Rodríguez made history in forming the
first all-female-of-color presidency and vice-presidency team at OSU.
Rodríguez was interviewed by Patricia Hernández-Ortiz for the course "The History of Latina/Os in the United States" (HST 367). The interview is also a component of the Latinos en Oregón Oral History Collection (OH 32), Special Collections and Archives Research Center, Oregon State University Libraries.
