Robert Boyer is a Portland resident who enjoyed a varied career, including a tenure as manager of the King Neighborhood Facility in northeast Portland. In 1995, Boyer also served a one-year term as an Oregon state Senator, representing constituents in north and northeast Portland. He was interviewed by Ruth Kornberg for the Oregon Black Pioneers Oral History Collection (OH 042), which is housed in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center, Oregon State University Libraries.
