Produced by the Oregon State College School of Home Economics and narrated by Marie Harris, this film highlights the many career paths available to home economics graduates. Following an overview of the mission of the School of Home Economics provided by Dean Miriam Scholl, the film highlights multiple current students or recent graduates and describes the professional work that they intend to pursue. These include work as a teacher, county Extension agent, nursery school employee, social work and public health employee, and hospital dietician. Career opportunities in the food and appliance industries, journalism, clothing and textiles, research, and commercial food service are also discussed.
