Guerrini recounts her career as a historian of science, including her ten years as Horning Endowed Chair at Oregon State University. Guerrini also discusses her path through academia, which included post-baccalaureate studies at Oxford and doctoral work at Indiana University as well as two faculty appointments prior to OSU. She likewise details aspects of her research on the history of animals, the history of food, and the history of animal and human anatomy, and obstacles that she and her husband - historian of science Michael Osborne - encountered navigating a difficult job market.
