E.B. (Edward Benjamin) Beaty earned a BS degree in electrical engineering from Oregon Agricultural College in 1903; he became a faculty member in mathematics in 1908 and continued until his retirement in 1947. In this interview, Beaty was asked to reflect on the past, present and future of Oregon State College. Subjects discussed include the Electrical Engineering Department, 1899-1956; bridge building; bridge design; schedule building; Order of Demoley; Thomas M.
