Footage of gravity-propelled "recycled racers" being piloted down the Jefferson Street hill just south of the Kerr Library. This event was part of the Engineering Spree, held during Spring term 1981. Each of the "racers" was constructed of recycled materials collected and repurposed by competing engineering societies. Footage includes scenes of teams and vehicles being prepared; the large crowd lining Jefferson Street in anticipation; false starts and other mishaps; and trips down the hill as seen from both the starting and finishing lines.
