Silent footage of Oregon State University track and field star Joni Huntley competing in the high jump, 100 meters and long jump. These scenes were recorded at the OSU Track Invitational held at Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, Oregon. At the meet, Huntley won the high jump (5' 8.5") and long jump (18' 5"), and placed second in the 100 meter dash (11.5). A native of Sheridan, Oregon, Joni Huntley competed at OSU for one year - 1975 - during which time she was the reigning American record holder in the women's high jump. She later competed as a high jumper in two Olympic games, winning a bronze medal in 1984.
