John Wager is professor emeritus in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University, where he worked from 1984-2018. Among many other contributions, his laboratory group is renowned for having created the first transparent transistor in 2001. Wager is also an OSU alum, having earned his bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics in 1977.
