“Communicating coastal hazards science for efficacy”
Speakers: Sara McBride, Elyssa Tappero, and Lauren Vinnell
In this colloquium our speakers will each describe how they in their own work communicate about science relevant to what coastal residents and organizations can and should do to protect effectively against coastal hazards. They will also summarize their advice for coastal hazards scientists on how to communicate their sciences effectively for the purposes of informing coastal risk management and protective action, as prologue to addressing your questions on these topics in a moderated discussion.
