This webinar offers an introduction to Primeros Auxilios de Salud Mental (Mental Health First Aid). Offering Mental Health First Aid training to Spanish-speaking community members can help to reduce stigma, promotes recognition of signs and symptoms of mental health crises, and is an important step in health equity. Presenters discuss cultural barriers and mental health stigma in the Latino/a community and make recommendations for implementation.
