Portland native Joy Pruitt was a teacher and active member of the Urban League of Portland. She was interviewed by Ruth Kornberg for the Oregon Black Pioneers Oral History Collection (OH 042), which is housed in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center, Oregon State University Libraries.
