Kay Toran, a longtime Portland resident, has held positions including Director of Affirmative Action for the state of Oregon, and President of Volunteers of America Oregon. She was interviewed by Ruth Kornberg for the Oregon Black Pioneers Oral History Collection (OH 042), which is housed in the Special Collections and Archives Research Center, Oregon State University Libraries.
