This film provides an overview of the many types of work that Oregon State University Extension staff carry out across Oregon. It includes a discussion of the administrative organization of the Extension Service as well as the mechanisms that it has in place to develop programs that can meet current needs. Examples that it provides of the Extension Service's impact include topics related to water use, grass seed development, farm business practices, improved machinery, and optimal forestry practices. The film also highlights the work of Marine Extension agents, Extension Food Technology marketing specialists, and Home Economics Extension agents.
