The film includes scenes of remarks being delivered by OSC president August Strand and head basketball coach Slats Gill, among others; a recognition of former players in attendance; and a Beaver basketball scrimmage. Described as "the finest basketball palace west of the Mississippi River," what was then formally known as the Oregon State College Coliseum boasted the largest seating capacity (10.252) of any building in the state of Oregon.
