November 18, 2016, ten days after the national elections, Anishinaabekwe activist, writer, and political leader Winona LaDuke spoke at the Whiteside Theatre in Corvallis. LaDuke addressed the interrelated issues of energy, food sovereignty and Native Rights, and offer ideas about what people can do to support the rights of Native Americans, address climate justice, and move the U.S. toward a sustainable, post-carbon economy.
