In this third video, Drazel is interviewed and the first topic is how he got into organic farming. Drazel admits that he initially did not want to switch from conventional farming. However, his eldest son pushed towards the transition. For Drazel himself, it is a matter of biological farming, meaning he wants to return the soil to its original state in order to get the best out of it. One of the methods he uses is crop rotation, specifically planting wild rye. Drazel Farm uses its own seeds, even developing a seed project in order to protect seeds natural state. The only outside seed they use is the Russet potato seed.
