Aviation Fools From Wood! (Question/Answer Period)

2013 Starker Lecture Series, Lecture 2. Q & A Period from the lecture "Wood to Wing: Envisioning an Aviation Biofuels Industry Based on Forest Residuals in the Pacific Northwest." (http://media.oregonstate.edu/media/Aviation+Fuels+From+Wood%21/0_8bmttwr3) Michael Wolcott serves as Co-Principal Director for the NARA project. Dr. Wolcott has received numerous national and international awards for research excellence, including the prestigious Society of Wood Science and Technology’s George Marra Award (in 1991 and 1995). He is a Fellow in the International Academy of Wood Science and frequently invited as keynote lecturer at international conferences. He holds a Ph.D. in materials engineering science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University and BS/MS in forestry from the University of Maine. A member of the WSU faculty since 1996, he previously served as an associate professor at West Virginia University’s Division of Forestry.
