Betty Miner was an Instructor in Foods and Nutrition at Oregon State University from 1972-1983. Her husband, Ron Miner, was a faculty member in Agricultural Engineering who later served as Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture and Associate Director of the Office of International Research and Development. In this interview, Miner traces her career path as a instructor at numerous universities, shares her memories of the OSU College of Home Economics in the 1970s and early 1980s, and comments on her experiences living and working in Singapore and Malawi.
