In the session, Donna Thwing, Heather Cooney and Brooke Davison, provide information on BOLI.
This will be an informal discussion addressing issues related to construction work subject to Oregon Prevailing Wage Rate law and/or Federal Davis Bacon requirements. Construction Contract staff will talk about how projects become subject to Prevailing Wage Rate (PWR) law, the differences between residential and commercial construction licensing, additional costs to departments when a project is subject to Oregon PWR, departmental responsibilities in regard to payment and recordkeeping, the Procurement and Contract Services solicitation process, and respond to questions brought by campus staff.
