The grandson of the chair of OAC's Board of Trustees, James K. Weatherford earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon Agricultural College in 1924. He later became a prominent local attorney and school board member. He was interviewed by Mary Burck for the Horner Museum Oral History Collection (OH 10), Special Collections and Archives Research Center, Oregon State University Libraries.
