This numerical model calculates casualties from a Cascadia subduction zone tsunami in the town of Seaside, Oregon if there are vertical evacuation structures. Should be shown together with the short video of the model without evacuation structures (https://media.oregonstate.edu/media/t/0_c2avbirn). Tsunami vertical evacuation structures are a valuable way to save lives in certain coastal communities threatened by earthquakes and tsunami.
