The OSU men's basketball team finished the year with a 22-7 record, bowing out to West Virginia in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Ranked as high as tenth nationally, the team was led by big men A.C. Green (19.2 points, 9.4 rebounds per game), Charlie Sitton (18.2 points, 5.2 rebounds) and Steve Woodside (12.2 points, 5.9 rebounds), and guard Daryl Flowers (8.1 points, 4.5 assists).
