Bill Wilkins was a Professor of Economics at Oregon State University from 1961 to 1994, and served as Dean of the College of Liberal Arts from 1982 to 1994. In this, the second of two interviews, he share his memories of his administrative career, commenting on the strategies, people and events that were critical to growing the liberal arts at OSU. Wilkins' political involvement, including his memories of chairing the Robert F. Kennedy campaign in five Oregon counties, is included as a secondary topic, as is Wilkins' love of aviation and two stints that he spent working in Washington, D.C.
