I think we bring about a unique perspective, and this goes back to what I was saying in terms of the challenge, right, if our challenge is how do we balance all these competing expectations, between family, between school, between your own work, and your own goals --- I think that first generation students bring a very different perspective of life, of experience. I also think that they bring a sense of value for education that other people might take for granted. So, you know, for me, to this day, education is still something that is incredibly valuable and something that I see as having a transformational effect in a person's life, in so many ways. I think that we bring an appreciation for that, that other students could take for granted; there are some students that may see college as well as natural next step, there was never a question that they would go or not. I think because of our struggle, because we had to really figure things out differently, we bring an appreciation, we bring an appreciation for the sense of sacrifice that it actually takes to be here and to make it through to graduation. There's always a cost, there's always a sacrifice, and I think that when you think about the cost and the sacrifice and the struggles and how you have to do things differently it adds to the community a sense of value, and appreciation, and gratitude that really enriches what we do and why we do it, so I think that's important.
