He gave a talk titled “Tales of Corvallis Brewing: what we know about the 19th century” on the history of brewing in Corvallis for the 2017 Benton County/City of Corvallis Preservation Month awards ceremony. The event was held at the Old World Deli on May 25, 2017. Note: In this video, Cox said Hodes sold brandy for $300; the correct amount is $3,000.
