Silent footage of the USF Dons vs. OSC Beavers NCAA Basketball Tournament - West Regional match-up, played on March 12, 1955. The game, held at the OSC Coliseum, was won by USF by a score of 57-56.  Led by future NBA legend Bill Russell, the Dons went on to win the NCAA tournament that year and the next.  

In the game versus Oregon State, Russell scored 29 points and was credited with 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocked shots.  OSC center Swede Holbrook, playing against Russell, recorded 18 points, 18 rebounds, 2 blocks and 3 steals.
